Android applications Īs of October 9, 2019, the Amazon Appstore features 487,083 applications available for download. It also permits the user to directly install Android APKs. The service redirects the user from the Microsoft Store to the Amazon Appstore to install the Android app. On June 24, 2021, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 would allow access to the Amazon Appstore within the Microsoft Store, enabling users to run Android applications on Windows.
